As per in the summer bands
of Orcs are attempting their summer raids on near by towns and
villages. Minoc has already experienced a fair few waves of attacks
launched
by the Orcish scum and Lord British having seen some of the near
by farmland ravaged and Minoc's defences seriously crippled by
the raids has increased his guard patrols outside the city walls
in order
to protect his land. Lord British made this statement:
“Although last year we were
more than able to fend of the Orc raids this year will
be some what different. I have
been working closely with local farmers and villages to
talk some sense into the wild men and brigands that roam
the countryside
and terrorise travelers and traders. In order to achieve
this I have decided that a missionary post should be set
up just
outside the cities walls. This presents a problem as the
missionary post is not very well fortified and is venerable
to the Orc
raids. I have stepped up patrols that lead out from the
cities gates in order to give better protection to the
installation.
However this means the amount of guards patrolling the
walls and around the city will be dramatically reduced.
I ask all
lawful members of society to be on their best behaviour
and be most vigilant in this time.” – Lord

It has been reported
that on numerous occasions an organised band of orcs have congregated
and staged
regular attacks upon Minoc. Some theorists are suggesting
that this group may be functioning from within a nearby dungeon.
So far these attacks have been performed anywhere between one day
and one week from the last attack. |

Reports from the wisest wizards left
on the planet indicates there is some sort of Ancient Lich in the
Yew Fort Of The Damned. The Wizards are willing to pay everyone
who helps to kill that ancient lich an outstanding reward if they
are given evidence of its death. (This is a once in a life time
quest ran by GM DannyBoy (also GM Yufi) so a screenshot of the
dead body and who killed it will be needed to get reward).

GM Emzy has recently lost some of her
cows, she is offering a reward to any person who can return one
to her farm near Trinsic. She tells us that her cows are
fond of forested areas, so this is a good place to start looking.
